Patterns	“Stacked” or “basket weave” patterns may move upon compaction We suggest “soldier” or “sailor” courses to “lock in” the field and small cuts
Edge restraint	None required when a concrete “leave-out” or architectural curb is specified A concrete flat slab with metal edge attached allows flexibility in lining up patterns
Sanded joints	We recommend using polymeric joint sand to reduce sand loss and weed growth
